How We Learn

Paladin Career and Technical High School is a public charter school that uses a variety of techniques in order to offer each student the necessary instructional model. Students create their own curriculum in a sense, obtaining their credit through a combination of classes, seminars, individual projects, and experiential trips.

Critical to our methodology is the belief that students need more than academic knowledge to be successful after school. With this in mind, we put heavy emphasis on peer communications, professional skills, and community involvement.  This is accomplished through our Work-Based Learning Program, daily community meetings, and monthly student recognition meetings (also known as Court of Honor).

Because of our focus on experiential learning, we build real world experiences into every class and project, helping students make immediate connections between the academic content and the world around them.
