John Klockeman

John Klockeman

John Klockeman is in his eleventh year at Paladin and serves as a Math Teacher, Student Success Coordinator, Quad Lead and Vice Chair of the School Board. His first career was as an Architect for 30 years+. It is a license he continues to maintain. As a result John brings a unique perspective to math classes especially Geometry and Makerspace. His architecture background also informs his work in art instruction.

When not working with numbers, shapes and composition, John likes to lighten the mood with classic “dad” jokes which are either a hit or produce a disbelieving groan for staff and students alike. He lives on a farm with horses, chickens and a cat named Boaz. In 2016 he earned his Math Education degree from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul.

John’s approachability, non-threatening demeanor and diverse knowledge of a variety of topics liven up many conversations with students as he encourages their exploration of project-based learning with curiosity and enthusiasm.
